    The Ice Cane Attachment fits on the end of your walking stick over the ferrule to give extra grip in icy conditions and to help prevent your stick sliding on ice or snow. Fitted with a spring so it can be easily flipped up when going indoors or into a shopping centre. Comes with 2 lengths of screws so it can be fitted to most sizes of canes.

Haven't had to use this yet but I attached it to see how to do it, easier than I expected it to be and was then both surprised and delighted to discover the mechanism to flip it out of the way when not needed. Did I miss that detail in the description?

This will be perfect if we have another bad winter. Would not say I look forward to using it but it seems such a sensible invention for ice underfoot. Will give confidence. Did not know such a thing existed until I saw it on your website.
