Seat Sticks at the Stick and Cane Shop

If you have mobility difficulties, when you're out and about it can be very difficult to stand for a length of time without the need to find somewhere to sit down and rest. Not every village, town or city has easy access to adequate seating, and if you're out in the countryside it can be even trickier to find adequate and comfortable seating. So, while it is great to get outdoors, the difficulty in finding somewhere to rest for a moment can cause a great deal of concern to many with mobility issues, and can even prevent people from going out in the first place.

At the Stick and Cane Shop we pride ourselves on having a wide range of sticks and canes to suit a variety of mobility needs, and we also have the solution to the issue of inadequate seating. We have a variety of Seat Sticks in stock that provide you firstly with an ideal walking aid, but one that also has the added advantage that it can be folded into a temporary seat, giving you a much-needed rest. It is such a simple addition to a stick, but one that can be extremely effective in allowing people greater mobility and independence and the ability to go out without worrying that there will be nowhere near to sit down. In addition, these sticks are also ideal for people who enjoy countryside rambling, or sports such as fishing who need a portable seat with them.

So this week we have selected a range of Seat Sticks from our wider range available at the Stick and Cane Shop, from the practical and sturdy tripod seat to the single-poled variety of hunting stick. We are sure we have the ideal seat stick available for you at a competitive price, enabling you to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors with a bit more freedom.
