Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. At any time you can adjust the quantities or remove items from your shopping cart by clicking 'View Cart'. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please give a valid email address as we will email your invoice to you.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. We use the Worldpay secure payment site, so you may use your credit or debit card with confidence.

We can accept cheques and PO's that are drawn on a UK bank. Please make payable to Naysmith Ltd and cross A/C Payee. Goods will be despatched once your cheque has been received.

All you have to do is select "Pay by Cheque or Postal Order" option in the checkout area, and post cheques or PO's to:

If payment is not received within 10 working days the order will be cancelled and the goods returned to stock.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing of the goods, shipping charges or stock levels where we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In this case, we will always contact you first before any decision is made on your order.

Order Cancellation
By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within 7 working days of the item's delivery to you. To cancel your purchase during this period, please email or write to us giving your order number. Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us so that we can receive it within 7 working days of the date the item was delivered to you. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Return and original packaging costs cannot be refunded.

Liability
The total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Naysmith Ltd.


Shipping And Handling Standard Service is by Royal Mail 1st class post.
Special Delivery is by Royal Mail Special Delivery
Courier Service is by Fedex UK.
Airmail is by Royal Mail International Signed For small packet post.
International deliveries is by Fedex

Standard, Special Delivery and Airmail services are charged by weight.
Courier service is charged per consignment up to 20Kg and then by weight.
Heavier or items too large or expensive to be sent by Royal Mail will be sent by Courier.
Fedex International services are charged first volumetrically and then by weight.

Standard shipping cost start at £3.75.
Courier shipping cost is £5.50 per consignment.
International services costs vary by country and the service options and charges will be shown at check out. Items too long to be sent by small packet airmail will be sent by Fedex services.

Please note that shipping charges shown at checkout are ex VAT.
Delivery Schedule We are currently despatching orders recieved before 11:00 on the same day, otherwise they are despatched the following day of reciept of payment (ex. Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays).
Standard Service generally takes 2 - 7 working days.
Special Delivery will take 1 - 2 working days.
Courier Service will take 1 - 2 working days (Mon to Friday) for UK Mainland and 2 - 3 working days for the Scottish Highlands and Islands and UK Islands. Nomal Courier Service does not deliver on Saturdays.
If Courier service SAT AM DELIVERY selected then your order will be despatched on Fridays.
Fedex International takes 2 - 5 working days depending on location.
Airmail will take 5 to 7 working days.
Please note that for International Deliveries we are not responsible for any further duties or charges to be paid to the recieving counties Custom Officials. These have to be paid for by the customer.

If a courier or Fedex delivery is not picked up by the customer or if delivery is refused by the customer then the return charge made by the courier company or Fedex International will be deducted from any refund.

If an item is returned as undeliverable then we will make every effort to contact the customer to arrange redelivery, a further shipping charge will apply. If contact cannot be made then the order will be refunded less original shipping charge and return charges if any.

An order can be left in a secure location (e.g. shed, outhouse or garage) on the instructions of the customer but this is done at the customers own risk. We cannot advise the delivery companies to leave an item on the doorstep or in the back garden etc.

The times stated are those promised by the delivery companies involved, but sometimes delays occur outwith our control. We cannot be held responsible for for delivery delays occuring once goods leave our warehouse. Standard Delivery cannot be tracked. Special Delivery and Airmail have limited tracking. Courier and Fedex services have full tracking.If you wish to track an item please call 01506 870220 between 09.00 and 16.00 or email mail@naysmith.ltd.uk for your tracking number.
Back Orders
At this point we are unfortunately unable to offer a backorder service.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and prices are ammended at checkout. All product prices are shown inclusive of VAT. Shipping charges at checkout are shown ex VAT.
Credit Card Security
Our site is linked to Worldpay secure server, when making payments by credit or debit card all the payment details are taken by Worldpay. Their secure online server uses the latest SSL encyption and the information is transmitted using very complicated logarithm combinations. If you prefer to order over the telephone, be rest assured that your payment details are destroyed as soon as we have finished processing your order. We use Worldpay to take all our payments including telephone orders. We do not retain any card details. Worldpay is a subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All our products come with a 7 day no quibble guarantee. If an item is faulty then return it to us withn 7 days and we will replace or refund.

Please note that everyday wear and tear is not covered by our guarantee.

Returns Policy We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from www.stickandcaneshop.co.uk. It is our aim to offer you choice and quality at low prices.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within 7 days, for a refund. To cancel you can e-mail us at mail@stickandcaneshop.co.uk, telephone us on +44 (0) 1506 870220, or write to us ( see contact us for details ) within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your full order number. You must not use or open the items or remove the labels or plastic/cellophane pouches. Items should be returned to www.stickandcaneshop.co.uk in the original packaging together with the receipt. We will confirm receipt of e-mail cancellations. Return Postage will not be refunded.

We cannot refund or exchange goods that arrive back damaged or are lost in the post. Please re-use the original packaging, if possible, when returning items, otherwise please ensure goods are packaged sufficiently to prevent damage. Always obtain proof of posting as claims can then be made against the post office for loss or damage.

We cannot refund or exchange walking sticks that have been shortened.

We guarantee to replace or, if out of stock, refund faulty goods, simply notify us within 7 days of delivery of the goods and return them, in their original packaging, together with the receipt, to www.stickandcaneshop.co.uk. Your statutory rights are unaffected. For goods returned within 14 days we will refund return postage up to the cost of First Class mail. For goods returned outwith 14 days, return postage will not be refunded.

Our product guarantee period is six months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be provided and warranty does not cover goods used inappropriately (ie for stage props) or for everyday wear and tear.

If you want to exchange the items please mark clearly what you would like as a replacement. For returned goods paid by credit card we will refund the money to your credit card (at the current rate of exchange for overseas orders)

We can only replace or refund on goods that are returned to us accompanied by an order number or a Worldpay transaction number.

www.stickandcaneshop.co.uk warrants that the goods are free from defects at the time of despatch.

www.stickandcaneshop.co.uk will not accept any liability for late delivery of the goods and delivery time will not be the essence of our accepting an order.
